Craigdarroch House
Located on the shores of Loch Ness approximatly 15 miles from Inverness, the hotel has a lovely view over Loch Ness. The hotel is a traditional highland country house designed with a large open log fire place,high connice ceilings and wood panelling throughout the hall, dining room,lounge,bar and drawing room.
The Reception
As you enter Craigdarroch House you will be immediately struck by the ambience of the Hotel, old fashioned wood panelling, log fires, high cornice ceilings and soft luxurious period furnishings.
The Drawing Room
Relax in the deep cushioned sofas in front of a roaring log fire. The drawing room is decorated in soft colours with extensive wood panelling giving an ideal atmosphere in which to relax with an after dinner drink.
The Lounge Bar
The Lounge Bar, called the "Malt Shop" due to the fact that you will be able to choose from over 100 Malt Whisky selections, has a small and intimate feeling. Tables are placed so as to highlight the roaring log fire in the hearth.
The Bedrooms
All the bedrooms in Craigdarroch are full en-suite with both bath tub and shower. The rooms are all individually designed and the majority have views over Loch Ness, the remainder overlook the surrounding woodlands.
The Restaurant
The restaurant is well renowned for its excellence in cuisine and has won many commendations for its Fayre. A speciality is made of local produce from both land and sea. Dine by candle light and soak up the ambience of a romantic evening.
