Dumbarton is a burgh in Scotland, on the north bank of the River Clyde. Dumbarton was once the capital of Strathclyde, and now is the county town of Dumbartonshire. Dumbarton Castle, overlooks most of the city on Dumbarton Rock. Dumbarton FC is the local football club.
