The Express by Holiday Inn Derby is a brand new hotel which opened in June 1999. The hotel is ideally located 10 kms from junction 25 of the M1 directly off the A52 Nottingham/Derby road. The location also offers easy access to other major roads including the M6 and M42 which are accessible via the A38 which links Burton and Birmingham to the south and Mansfield to the north. Derby railway station is a 5 minute taxi ride away, as are the main shopping and business centres of the city.
