The Maison Talbooth is a Family run, luxury country house hotel and award winning restaurant in the heart of Constable Country.The Talbooth at Dedham has been run by the Milsom family since 1952 and has always enjoyed a fine reputation for a warm welcome and the quality of food, wine and accommodation. A unique business has been created linking the riverside restaurant Le Talbooth with the 10 luxury suites at Maison Talbooth.

The Hotel has ten luxury suites with sumptuous bathrooms giving you every opportunity to pamper yourself. Maison Talbooth, a pink washed Victorian house, has been skilfully converted to provide ten luxury suites. They are individually decorated with the emphasis on bold colours, space and comfort. The bathrooms are a particular feature with several round and corner baths.

There is an elegant drawing room which leads into the garden and guests can play with croquet or the giant chess set. There is no restaurant and guests are chauffeured to Le Talbooth for dinner. Breakfast is served in your suite and a full room service menu is available.

The Talbooth restaurant, a half timbered Tudor building, on the banks of the River Stour is a romantic setting for occasions of all kinds. Whatever the season the Talbooth has its own unique charms. In the Summer guests can dine alfresco on the riverside terrace and in the winter there are log fires in the cosy timbered bar and lounge. Throughout the year there are lovely views of the floodlit gardens and river

The cooking at Le Talbooth is a skilful mixture of the classic and the exciting. A range of menus are offered to suit every occasion and as many pockets as possible.
