De Vere Grand Hotel

Dating back to 1864, this magnificent 5 star hotel has earned a reputation for well-appointed accommodation, excellent cuisine and a superb Leisure Club. The majestic building has been designed in elaborate Italian Renaissance style with intricate balconies and gleaming white façade. The hotel features a magnificent reception area with marble pillars and a sweeping staircase. The Grand commands centre stage on Brighton's seafront, overlooking the English Channel and easily accessible by road, rail and air with Heathrow Airport only 1 1/2 hours away and Gatwick closer still, just 30 minutes. Regular train services run right to the heart of London into Victoria Station and the M23 motorway provides a direct route to the capital.

During your stay take time to indulge in a traditional Sussex Cream tea in the relaxing surroundings of The Grand's Victoria Lounge, or watch the world go by in the adjacent conservatory overlooking the seafront. In the evening, enjoy cocktails and pre-dinner drinks in the lounge and bar whilst listening to soothing melodies from our resident pianist.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the sumptuous Kings Restaurant. Luxurious furnishings, splendid chandeliers and impressive marble pillars, make this a beautiful setting to enjoy your meal. Traditional English Breakfast is one of the great pleasures of staying at The Grand - choose from an extensive selection of hot and cold dishes.

For lunch and dinner we offer a choice of menus, an international selection of fine wines and, of course, excellent service. On Saturday evenings the Kings Restaurant plays host to a Dinner and Dance, or you can dance the night away at our own Midnight Blues Night Club.

As Brighton's only 5 Star Victorian Hotel, The Grand is situated in a prime seafront location and within easy walking distance from major attractions. With 200 generously appointed en-suites (many with sea views) and a newly refurbished indoor leisure club with pool and beauty salon. The Hotel is the ultimate in luxury. The magnificent Kings Restaurant hosts a dinner and dance on most weekends. While the Victoria Lounge and Terrace is the perfect setting to indulge in afternoon tea. Brighton is surrounded by some of Englands most luxurious countryside and panoramic views across the English Channel.

Business and conference facilities at The Grand Brighton are among the best in the country. We can host everything from business meetings, conferences, product launches and exhibitions to fashion shows, cocktail receptions, themed parties and gala dinners. A board meeting for 8 or a conference for 800 - whatever the size of your event, our conference experts will ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently from start to finish.

An abundance of conference-linked activities is available, including polo at Cowdray Park, horse racing at Lingfield, and opera at Glyndebourne. The famous Royal Pavilion, rebuilt in the style of an Indian palace by the architect John Nash, can also be booked for private dinners.
