The Cumberland Hotel is Bournemouth's first purpose built Art Deco Hotel situated on the prestigious East Cliff, overlooking Bournemouth Bay, with only a short walk to the town centre and the sandy beaches.

The Hotel has 102 ensuite deluxe suites, doubles, twins and family bedrooms. Many of these beautiful rooms enjoy the added luxury of sundrenched balconies and views across the bay from the Isle of Wight to the east across to Old Harry's Rock jutting from the Purbeck Nature Reserve to the West.

Each room has direct dial telephone, colour TV, hospitality tray and hair dryer. There is a baby listening service via the telephone system, and cots are available on request.

The Dubarry Restaurant features the original oak panels and ornate ceilings from days gone by. Large and spacious with wonderful views, The Dubarry Restaurant excels in traditional menus with a continental flair using fresh local produce.

The spacious Lounges at the Cumberland Hotel are an ideal place to unwind, and also have nice views that over look the patio and outdoor pool area. A new and improved heating system has recently been installed to what is one of the largest outdoor pools in Bournemouth, much to the relief of many regular guests!

All guests of The Cumberland Hotel are entitled to temporary free membership of The Queensbury Indoor Leisure Complex based at its sister hotel The Queens, a 50yds level walk from the hotel car park. The Complex has an indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Steam Room, Fast Tan Solarium and gymnasium.

Wheelchair users can enjoy the Hotel with the ramped entrance, the ground floor being level and a lift to all floors (with assistance).
