The New Hall Hotel, Birmingham

Twelfth century New Hall is the oldest inhabited moated manor house in England. Personally run by Caroline Parkes, it is the holder of the RAC Gold Ribbon and AA 4 Red Stars amongst many other accolades.

The hotel is ideal for romantic escapes, inclusive weekend breaks, small business meetings and as a touring base for visiting Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds. It is also close to the National Exhibition Centre, and the International Convention Centre. Guests dine in the 16th century oak panelled, non-smoking restaurant where the award-winning Chef, creates superb cuisine.

New Hall features extensively wooded grounds with a croquet lawn, putting green, an all-weather tennis court, a leisure spa and a nine-hole golf course. The famous Belfry, venue for Ryder Cup 2001 is only five minutes away.

New Hall is east of Birmingham, near the M6 and M42 motorways, on the B4148 near the village of Walmley. The hotel is 20 minutes from Birmingham International airport.

Open 11:00 to midnight. After 19:00, elegant and smart but comfortable.
Drawing Room
Operates all day serving tea - coffee and drinks until midnight. Food is served from 11:00 until 23:00 offering a selection of light snacks.

Eclectic English cuisine, a la carte or table d'hote. 2 AA Rosettes. No smoking. Lunch 12:30 - 15:00, Dinner 19:00 - 22:00.
