Opened in 1885 the Swallow Station Hotel, Ayr is situated in the centre of Ayr adjacent to the Railway Station. The hotel has 75 ensuite bedrooms, 32 of which are Premier Plus Rooms, 41 Standard Rooms and Two Suites. That includes all types of rooms from family rooms to single rooms, non smoking rooms and ladies rooms are available on request. All the hotel Bedrooms have all the modern facilities that we come to expect while staying in hotels. The Craigie Restaurant offers a superb range of Cuisine with all tastes catered for. Relax in the Cocktail Bar after a work out in the hotels leisure centre which has a Gymnasium, relaxing Whirlpool Spa, Turkish Steam Bath and a Dry Finnish Sauna. We also offer a laundry and dry cleaning service. The hotel also has Conference & Banqueting facilities. The Kintyre suite has a Beech Wood Dance floor and can seat up to 140 for a Dinner Dance.

Four excellent conference rooms, plenty of state-of-the-art equipment for up to 160 guests and delegates. A fine beech dance floor and the gourmets are complimentary about the food. Well equipped Leisure Club, free to guests - sauna, steam room, sun beds. The Cocktail Bar has a mouth watering selection of wonderful whiskies. No, they're definitely not building hotels like this any longer; more's the pity.
